About the Scholarship
The University Twente Scholarship (UTS) is designed for outstanding students from non-EU/EER countries who are applying for a Master’s programme (MSc) at the University of Twente. This scholarship provides financial support ranging from €3,000 to €22,000 for one year. If enrolled in a two-year programme, students may receive an additional UTS amount equivalent to the first year, contingent upon meeting certain performance requirements.
The scholarship is intended to help cover study-related expenses, but recipients have the discretion to allocate funds as they see fit. However, it’s important to note that the scholarship does not cover tuition fees directly.

Important Notes for Nigerian Applicants
Nigerian students seeking to apply for the University of Twente Scholarship (UTS) are encouraged to prepare meticulously, as the scholarship is competitive and aimed at the top academic achievers. Ensure you verify that your qualifications meet the admissions criteria for the Master’s programmes available at the university.
It is also critical to review and understand the total cost of living and studying in the Netherlands, as the UTS will not cover all expenses. Applicants should ensure they can secure additional funding if necessary.
As Nigerians, you may face specific requirements for visa processing; thus, timely applications and thorough documentation are essential to facilitate your transition to the Netherlands.
